Which UAE visa should Egyptian travelers choose?

The right visa depends on your trip.

30 day single entry

A good fit for a short holiday or a one time family visit, letting you enter once and stay up to 30 days.

60 day single entry

Better for a longer holiday or an extended stay with relatives, with a single entry and up to 60 days in the country.

30 day multiple entry

Designed for business travelers and anyone who needs to come and go, with each visit lasting up to 30 days.

60 day multiple entry

The most flexible choice, allowing repeated entries with stays of up to 60 days, ideal for frequent visits over a longer period.

All of these visas are valid in every emirate, so a single visa lets you move freely between Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and the rest of the UAE.

Documents Egyptian citizens need for a UAE visa

The list is short and simple:

  • A clear colour copy of your passport, valid for at least six months from your entry date
  • Passport back cover
  • Return flight
  • A recent passport size photograph on a white background
  • For children travelling with you, a copy of the birth certificate

A bank statement is not part of the standard checklist. UAE immigration may sometimes ask travelers to show proof of funds, a return ticket, or accommodation details on arrival, so keep those handy.

How long does a UAE visa take for Egyptians?

Standard processing is 24 to 72 hours once your documents are in order. If you are travelling sooner, ask us about express processing to speed things up. Applying a few days ahead always gives the safest margin.

Visa validity and extension

Your UAE visit visa must be used within 60 days of the issue date, and your stay is counted from the day you arrive.

If you decide to stay longer, extensions are available without leaving the country:

  • A 30 day visa can be extended three times, 30 days each time.
  • A 60 day visa can be extended twice, 30 days each time.

Extensions are handled through the agency that issued your visa and must be arranged before the current visa expires. A visit visa has no grace period after expiry, so plan your extension in advance to avoid daily overstay fines. After the maximum number of extensions, you reset your stay by exiting and re entering through an airport to airport visa change or by bus.

Payment options

You can pay in the way that suits you best. UAE residents arranging a visa for a family member or friend can split the cost with Tabby or Tamara, or use a UAE credit card over up to 12 months. Applicants based outside the UAE receive a secure online payment link to complete their booking.
