Example: what a monthly flydubai fare can look like
If a flydubai return ticket costs AED 1,200, a 6 month plan comes to about AED 200 per month, plus any plan fee shown in the link. A family of four on the same route could spread about AED 4,800 over 12 months at roughly AED 400 per month. Fares change daily, so we always quote the live price first.

Fees are per person, per sector, and can vary by route. When you rebook, you also pay any fare difference. Refunds on flydubai are issued as a flydubai voucher in the passenger’s name, not as cash. If you are not sure your plans are fixed, Value or Flex usually costs less in the end than a Lite fare you cannot change.

Names on your flydubai ticket
Your name on the ticket must be spelled exactly as in your passport. Special characters, abbreviations and nicknames are not accepted, and first and last name together can be at most 59 characters including spaces. We check every name against the passport copy before we issue.
Only one name in your passport (no surname or no given name)
flydubai uses FNU (First Name Unavailable) in the first name field and puts your name in the last name field:

Important for travel to the UAE: under UAE National Advance Information Centre (NAIC) rules, a traveller whose passport shows only one name, with no other names on any page, is not allowed to enter the UAE. This applies to tourist, visit, work and transit visas and visa on arrival. It does not apply if you are only transiting through the UAE, if your UAE visa shows additional names, if you hold a valid Emirates ID, if your national ID card shows additional names, or if your passport shows additional names under Observations or Annotations. Changing or cancelling a flydubai booking
- Lite: no rebooking and no cancellation; only applicable taxes are refunded, as a flydubai voucher.
- Value: rebooking for AED 150 and cancellation for AED 200, up to 24 hours before departure. Within 24 hours, changes are not permitted.
- Flex and Business: free rebooking, and free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. After that, and up to 30 days after departure, cancellation costs AED 400.
- Use your flights in order: if you skip a flight, the rest of the booking may be cancelled with no refund.

A2A visa change on flydubai
Most airport to airport (A2A) visa changes from Dubai fly on flydubai, because you can wait in the Dubai Terminal 2 transit area while your new visa is approved. We arrange the full A2A visa change for AED 1,550, flight and new 60 day visa included, with no deposit. Note that on visa change bookings flydubai does not accept strollers as checked baggage; a fully collapsible stroller can only go in the cabin if it fits the hand baggage size and weight.
Travelling with pets on flydubai
- Falcons may travel in the cabin with special prior approval from flydubai.
- Pets and other live animals travel through flydubai Cargo, not as passenger baggage.

Lost, delayed or damaged baggage on flydubai
- Bag did not arrive: report it at the baggage services desk at your arrival airport straight away. You get a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) number to track it.
- Could not report at the airport: submit the flydubai contact form within 7 days of arrival, choosing ‘Baggage, delayed or damaged’.
- Track your bag: log in at mybag.aero/flydubai with your PIR number and last name. If the bag is still missing after 3 days, update the bag contents there; after 5 days, complete the baggage inventory and claim form.
- Bag damaged: report it at the arrival airport, then upload the documents within 7 days of getting your bag back.
- Left something on board or at the airport: contact the lost and found office of the airport where you landed. For Dubai, that is Dubai Airports lost and found.
