What Is Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi?
Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi is a world class science museum covering 35,000 square metres. The building was designed by the Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo, and its shape is inspired by natural rock formations shaped by wind and time.

Your museum ticket includes the main galleries, special exhibitions and selected workshops, while some temporary exhibitions may have an extra fee. The Immersive Theatre needs a separate ticket. Weekday mornings are the quietest time to visit, so you can see Stan and the dinosaur halls without big crowds. Weekends are busier but the museum stays open later, which is great for an evening visit after a day at the beach.
The museum is fully indoors and air conditioned, so it is a great choice all year round, especially in the hot summer months. From November to March, the cooler weather also lets you enjoy a walk around the Saadiyat Cultural District before or after your visit.
