Where is Al Rams in Ras Al Khaimah?
Al Rams lies north of Ras Al Khaimah city on the coastal road that continues toward the Oman border. The village faces a sheltered bay with the Hajar Mountains rising behind it, which gives the area its mix of sea, mangroves and rocky peaks. Climb Dhayah Fort

Around 239 steps lead to the top, with views over the village, the sea and the mountains. The path is rocky and unlit and is not suitable for prams or wheelchairs, so visit in daylight.

Around the village you will spot old houses and watchtowers from its pearling and fishing past. Common mistakes to avoid in Al Rams
