Mang theo cai gi
- Plenty of water and food, even though food trucks and cafes sometimes operate nearby

- A hat, sunscreen and comfortable shoes

- Offline maps, as phone signal can be weak
Rules and Safety at the Lake

Fixing Common Problems at the Lake
| Những gì bạn nhận thấy | Điều đó thường có nghĩa là gì | Làm gì trước |
|---|---|---|
| No free campsite or picnic spot | It’s a busy winter weekend | Arrive early in the morning or visit on a weekday |
| Part of the lake is closed | Scheduled maintenance by the municipality | Check the municipality’s announcements and plan your visit for another time |
| Tent moving in the wind | Desert winds pick up at night | Use extra pegs and weigh down the corners |
| Phone loses signal | You’re far from cell towers | Download offline maps before leaving the city |
Keeping the Lake Clean
The lake, trees and birds stay healthy because visitors leave nothing behind. Pack out every bit of rubbish, keep the barbecue areas clean, and leave plants and wildlife as you found them.
After heavy rain, some sandy tracks around the lake can turn soft. Stick to the paved roads and parking areas so you don’t get stuck.

When to Skip the Lake
This trip isn’t the right choice for every travel day.
If you want a beach day, head to Đảo Saadiyat instead. If your main goal is to see flamingos up close, the wetland reserve is the better choice. And in the peak of summer, the midday heat makes a lakeside picnic uncomfortable. For a catered night out in the desert, book a desert camp experience through White Sky Travel và Du lịch trên WhatsApp tại +971 4 220 2133 và chia sẻ chi phí với Tabby, Tamara hoặc thẻ tín dụng UAE với thời hạn lên đến 12 tháng.
