Burj View rooms go first around New Year’s Eve, the Dubai Shopping Festival and long weekends. If the view is the point of your trip, book early and say so, because the exact floor is not guaranteed.
Getting to the fountain, the mall and the metro
Most guests walk to The Dubai Mall and the fountain shows. Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall and Financial Centre are the nearest Red Line metro stations, and Dubai World Trade Centre is about five minutes by car. Parking is free while spaces last, and the hotel can arrange an airport transfer for a fee.
Pool, gym and the rest
There is an outdoor saltwater pool open 8 AM to 8 PM, a 24 hour gym, a 24 hour laundromat, a convenience store, free iMacs and co working tables, and foosball and table tennis in the lobby. Breakfast is served at the TGI Fridays inside the hotel from 6:30 to 10:30 AM. It is a non smoking hotel with outdoor smoking areas.
Arriving early or leaving late
Check in is from 4 PM, which is later than most hotels, but check out is a relaxed 2 PM. If your flight lands in the morning you can still use the pool, gym and changing rooms, and leave bags in the self service lockers.
Budget and monthly payments
A three night stay in a city view room might total around AED 1,050, which comes to about AED 175 a month over 6 months on Tabby. That is Rove’s standard time. You can use the pool, gym and lockers before your room is ready, and check out is at 2 PM.
