Running until 17 January 2027, this exhibition marks the centenary of the Lebanese painter Paul Guiragossian. As La Dirección Nacional de reports, it brings together rarely seen paintings, drawings and family archives, including his 1948 self portrait, shown outside Lebanon for the first time, and his final painting from 1993.

The show is arranged in four sections that follow his life and work, told through three women who shaped it: his mother Rahel, his wife Juliette and his daughter Manuella. Exhibitions change through the year, so the works on show may be different when you visit.

Inside the building and Sculpture Garden

Architect Rasha Gebran of ADD Consultants designed the building, a cantilevered structure of fibre cement and glass. Perforations in the facade filter soft daylight inside and make the building glow in the evening. The galleries have no central columns, so walls on wheels can be moved to reshape the space for every new show.

Outside, a courtyard planted with chikoo trees and the Sculpture Garden host large outdoor works. The Annex Gallery is used for smaller exhibitions, lectures and workshops, and Café des Artistes offers coffee and sweet treats with an outdoor terrace.
