What is Ain Dubai?
Ain Dubai is a giant observation wheel on Bluewaters Island, a man made island linked to Jumeirah Beach Residence by a pedestrian bridge. Its cabins sit on the outside of the rim, so nothing blocks your view as you rise above the coastline. At the top you look across Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab, the Dubai Marina towers and out over the open sea.
It is nearly twice the height of the London Eye, and its central hub alone weighs about 1,800 tonnes. The wheel first welcomed guests in October 2021, closed in early 2022 for enhancement work, and reopened to the public in December 2024.

How to get to Ain Dubai
- On foot: walk across the pedestrian bridge from The Beach at JBR. It takes about 10 minutes.
- By tram or metro: take the Dubai Tram to the JBR stops, then walk across the bridge.
- By taxi or car: drive straight to Bluewaters Island. Parking is available on the island, and guests can often get parking validated, so keep your ticket receipt.
Tips for the best Ain Dubai experience

- Avoid midday glare. The strong sun around noon reflects off the glass and washes out photos.
- Know which way to look. One side faces the open sea and Palm Jumeirah, the other faces the Dubai Marina skyline. Shared cabins can get busy, so move early for the view you want.

- Arrive early on weekends. Friday and Saturday evenings are the busiest, so allow extra time for security.
