Global Village Tickets, Dubai

1 Day

Global Village is the biggest thing that happens in Dubai every winter. More than twenty five pavilions, a few hundred rides and stalls, a stunt show most nights, and food from about ninety countries in one place. It runs through the cooler months and it is busy every weekend it is open.

We book Global Village tickets for residents and visitors, including family packs, VIP entry and combo tickets that pair Global Village with other Dubai attractions. You can spread the cost over monthly payments, which is worth knowing if you are booking for a large family or adding several attractions to one trip.

Message us on WhatsApp with your dates and how many of you are going, and we will confirm the current price and send the tickets straight to your phone.

What we can book for you

  • Standard entry tickets for any open date
  • Family packs, which work out cheaper per person than buying singly
  • VIP entry with the faster entrance lane
  • Combo tickets pairing Global Village with other Dubai attractions
  • Group bookings for schools, companies and large family groups
  • Return transfers from anywhere in Dubai or Sharjah

We are a licensed Dubai travel agency, so you get a real booking reference, a person to call if anything goes wrong on the night, and the option to pay monthly rather than all at once.

When Global Village is open

Global Village is seasonal. It opens in the second half of October and runs through to late April or early May, then closes for the summer while the site is rebuilt for the following season. Exact opening and closing dates change every year and are announced by Global Village a few weeks beforehand.

Opening hours differ between weekdays and weekends, and there are usually separate hours for families and for groups of single men on certain nights. Hours also shift during Ramadan. We confirm the current timings when we send your tickets, so you are not turning up on a night the gates open later than you expected.

December is the busiest month of the season by a wide margin, followed by November and January. If you want a quieter evening, go on a weekday in late October or in March, and arrive early rather than after eight in the evening.

How much do Global Village tickets cost

Entry is one of the better value nights out in Dubai, and the ticket only covers entry. Rides in the Carnaval area, some of the shows and everything you eat are paid separately once you are inside, so budget for those on top.

Prices change from season to season and Global Village runs promotional nights, family pack rates and occasional free entry days for specific groups. Rather than publishing a figure that goes out of date, we confirm the current price for your dates when you enquire, along with whether a family pack or a combo works out cheaper for your group size.

If you are booking for several people or adding other attractions, we can split the total across Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card over up to 12 months.

How to get to Global Village

Global Village sits on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, out past Dubai Miracle Garden and the IMG Worlds site. It takes roughly half an hour from Downtown Dubai outside peak times and closer to an hour on a Friday or Saturday evening when the whole city is heading the same way.

Driving. There is a large free car park, plus a paid premium car park nearer the entrance. On weekend nights the free parking fills early and the walk in from the far end is long, so either arrive before the evening rush or pay for the closer option.

Public transport. There is no metro station at Global Village. The RTA runs seasonal bus services from several metro stations during the season, and route numbers and pick up points change each year, so check the current RTA listings before you rely on it.

Taxi and ride hailing. Straightforward on the way in. Getting back is the harder half, because thousands of people leave within the same half hour at closing and surge pricing bites. If you are going on a weekend, leaving twenty minutes before closing will save you both the queue and the fare.

Transfers. We can arrange a return transfer with your tickets, which is usually the least painful option for a group and removes the parking and the queue at the end of the night.

Is Global Village worth going to

If you live in the UAE, yes, at least once a season. It is the cheapest way to spend an evening out with a family, the pavilions genuinely differ from one another, and the shopping is the closest thing Dubai has to a proper market.

Go in expecting crowds and a lot of walking. It is not a quiet evening, the queues for food get long after eight, and the site is big enough that you will not see all of it in one visit. Comfortable shoes matter more than you would think.

For visitors on a short trip, it works best combined with something else in the same evening or the same day, which is where a combo ticket earns its money.

Global Village questions we get asked

How much is the entry ticket for Global Village?

Entry is priced per person and changes between seasons, with family packs and promotional nights usually available at a lower rate per head. Rides, shows and food are all charged separately once you are inside. Message us with your date and group size and we will confirm the current price and tell you whether a family pack or a combo is cheaper for you.

How can I get into Global Village for free or cheaper?

Global Village runs promotions most seasons, and these have previously included free entry days for particular groups, sponsor promotions, and discounted nights early in the season. They are announced season by season rather than being fixed, so there is no permanent free entry route.

The reliable ways to pay less are to buy a family pack rather than individual tickets, to go on a weekday rather than a weekend, and to bundle Global Village with another attraction on a combo ticket. We will tell you which of those applies to your group when you enquire.

What time does Global Village open?

Opening hours vary between weekdays and weekends and change through the season, including during Ramadan. There are also separate arrangements on some nights for families and for groups of single men. We confirm the exact timings for your date when we send your tickets.

Which months is Global Village open?

It opens in the second half of October and closes in late April or early May. It is shut for the whole summer while the site is rebuilt for the next season. The exact dates are announced each year a few weeks before opening.

Is there parking at Global Village and is it free?

Yes. There is a large free car park and a paid premium car park closer to the main entrance. The free parking fills up quickly on weekend evenings and the walk from the far end is a long one, so arrive early or pay for the nearer option if you are with young children or older relatives.

Is there a metro station near Global Village?

No, there is no metro station at the site. The RTA runs seasonal bus services from several metro stations while Global Village is open, but the routes and pick up points are set each season, so check the current RTA listings rather than last year’s. If you would rather not deal with it, we can arrange a return transfer with your tickets.

How long should we spend at Global Village?

Three to four hours is a comfortable first visit and covers a good sample of the pavilions, one meal and a show. Seeing the whole site properly takes two visits. If you are going with young children, plan around four hours maximum, because the walking distances add up faster than people expect.

Can I pay for Global Village tickets in instalments?

Yes. We split the cost across Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card over up to 12 months. This is worth doing when you are booking for a large group or combining Global Village with other attractions and transfers in one booking.

Can we combine Global Village with other Dubai attractions?

Yes, and it usually works out cheaper than buying separately. Global Village pairs well with Dubai Miracle Garden, which is nearby and runs in the same season, and with the Downtown attractions if you are making a full day of it. Tell us what else you want to see and we will price it as one booking.
